A few words about Norway….
Very practical people the Norwegians….and it’s having a effect on my travel-log.
Before anyone mentions the dearth of pictures displaying the famous Norwegian Fjord-land let me say that those practical Norwegians don’t seem to share our love of the aesthetic as they don’t provide anywhere to pull over and admire the breathtaking scenery!
I mean the highway is just one lane in each direction, and the supposed hard shoulder is maybe 4 feet deep in snow…..so there is hardly anywhere you can stop and take a pic!…protecting the postcard industry no doubt!S
o you’ll just have to believe me that the Fjords are
more beautiful than these few pictures demonstrate.
