Random Murmansk
I have found a cure for any of you that suffer from shyness or an introverted personality….
You come to Murmansk and just drive about in my truck for half an hour or so…
People just watch it with a look of bemusement and wonder; they might rarely see a Norwegian plate on a car, but they’ve never seen a UK plate or one attached to something quite like the truck!
And if you are really keen, park up and get out.
Then older people just back away or stare whereas the younger people come up and want to know all about it, what the hell was I doing there and where was I going…. It invariably ends in lots of handshakes, lots of thumbs up, and lots of pictures.
Those of you who know me will be surprised at how my shy and retiring nature has been transformed.
